The news that BIRD has increased their like-for-like sales 8.3% on the first half of the year compared to the drop experienced by the UK restaurant sector was covered in an interview with MCA today.
"A focus on improving food quality and service standards, reinforced by the Yumpingo data, has helped drive like-for-like sales growth of 8.3% so far in 2018.
The strategy has involved a weekly focus on boosting the worst rated dishes as well as incorporating feedback on the most popular items, based on the 30,000 reviews they have received since introducing the technology in November."
As a result of this success BIRD are looking to expand to two further sites in the next six months.
